In 2016 we were ‘Commended’ for the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists Alan King Award, which recognises excellence in architectural technology, for which another one of our projects was also nominated for.
CLIENT: NAVIGATION PROPERTY MARKETING SUITES COMPLETED: NOVEMBER 2016 LOCATION: HALSTEAD HILL, GOFF’S OAK AWARDS: CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGISTS, ALAN KING AWARD 2016, COMMENDED Background The Halstead Grange development consists of a collection of 14 luxury homes set within an exclusive gated community in rural Hertfordshire, with properties at this development launching for around £1.4 million, the marketing suite had to exude and reflect the luxury and branding of the Halstead Grange development. Taylor Wimpey North Thames requested the design, build and installation of the marketing suite within an 8-week construction programme. This was the first project that we worked on with our client Navigation Marketing Suites Services who were directly approached on the back of a successful internal fit out for a marketing suite for Peabody. CLIENT: Tendring District Council COMPLETED: 2015 LOCATION: Clacton on sea, Walton on the Naze, Essex SIZE: 12sqm The Changing Places Consortium provide changing facilities and toilets for people who cannot use standard accessible toilets. This includes people with profound and multiple learning disabilities, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, as well as older people. To use the toilet in safety and comfort, many people need to be able to access a Changing Places, which have more space and the right equipment, including a height adjustable changing bench and a hoist. We were approached by Tendring District Council to design two new Changing Places, one in Clacton on sea, and one in Walton on the Naze as part of a forward thinking initiative by the LA and local councillors.
